Area Manager – Kolkata

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Area Manager to manage and develop our Kolkata operations. The candidate will be responsible for opening recent branches, managing existing branches, achieving sales targets, recruiting staff, branch administration, marketing, and solving operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify suitable locations and take responsibility for opening and setting up new branches in the Kolkata area.
- Manage the overall operations and performance of all branches under the assigned area.
- Monitor branch-wise sales, business growth, targets, expenses and overall performance.
- Prepare and submit regular branch-wise sales and performance reports to management.
- Recruit, train and manage suitable branch staff and sales employees as per business requirements.
- Ensure every branch is properly staffed, organized and operating efficiently.
- Handle and resolve branch-level operational, staff, customer and business-related issues promptly.
- Coordinate with management and provide practical solutions for problems faced by branches.
- Take responsibility for branch-wise administration and day-to-day management.
- Plan and execute local marketing and promotional activities to increase branch visibility and customer acquisition.
- Coordinate branch advertisements, local promotions, banners, digital marketing and other marketing activities.
- Develop strategies to increase sales and business growth across Kolkata branches.
- Monitor competitors, local market conditions and identify new business opportunities.




- Conduct regular branch visits and ensure that company policies, processes and standards are properly followed.
- Maintain strong coordination between branches, employees and head office.
- Track staff performance and take necessary corrective actions when required.
- Support management in achieving overall Kolkata area business targets and expansion plans.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in Area Manager, Branch Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Manager or a similar role.
- Experience in multi-branch management, sales, operations and team handling will be preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to recruit, train and manage employees.
- Strong understanding of local marketing and business development.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for branch performance.
- Willingness to travel across Kolkata and nearby areas for branch visits and business development.
- Candidates with experience in financial services, gold business, NBFC, gold loan, retail or similar industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
