Job Summary

Swastik Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to support the company's credit assessment and loan underwriting function.

The role involves analysing loan applications, assessing the creditworthiness and repayment capacity of customers, reviewing financial and banking information, evaluating credit bureau reports, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with the company's credit policies and processes.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, sound judgement, and a good understanding of retail lending and credit risk.

Key Responsibilities

1. Credit Analysis & Underwriting

- Analyse loan applications and assess the overall creditworthiness of prospective borrowers.
- Evaluate customer income, repayment capacity, existing obligations, banking behaviour and financial profile.
- Analyse salary/income documents, bank statements, financial statements and other relevant information.
- Review credit bureau reports and assess repayment history, overdue accounts, credit utilisation and other credit indicators.
- Identify inconsistencies, adverse trends, potential risks and deviations in loan proposals.
- Prepare credit assessments and recommendations for approval/rejection as per the company's credit policy and delegation matrix.
- Ensure that credit decisions are supported by adequate documentation and objective analysis.

2. Documentation & Verification





- Review KYC, income, banking, property/security and other supporting documents as applicable.
- Ensure all mandatory documentation is complete and satisfactory before recommending a case.
- Coordinate with multiple Sales, Credit, Legal and Technical vendors and teams for additional information or verification.
- Validate information provided by customers against available supporting documents.
- Ensure that credit conditions and approval requirements are properly documented and complied with.

3. Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate with multiple Sales, Credit, Legal and Technical vendors
- Communicate credit requirements, deficiencies and approval conditions clearly.
- Follow up on cases requiring additional documentation or clarification.
- Maintain professional independence while working closely with business teams.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Finance, Banking or a related discipline will be an advantage.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in credit analysis, credit underwriting, loan processing or credit operations within an NBFC, bank, housing finance company or financial services organisation.
- Candidates with relevant experience in retail lending,



secured lending or MSME lending will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong analytical and financial skills may be considered for entry-level positions.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of retail lending and credit assessment.
- Ability to analyse financial statements and banking transactions.
- Good understanding of credit bureau reports such as CIBIL, Experian, Equifax and CRIF.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and data analysis.
- Ability to identify credit risks and inconsistencies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within defined TATs.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with LOS/LMS platforms.
- Knowledge of NBFC lending practices.
- Understanding of KYC and customer due-diligence requirements.
- Exposure to bank-statement analysis.
- Knowledge of fraud detection and prevention controls.
- Understanding of DPD, SMA, NPA and other portfolio-quality indicators.
- Familiarity with credit underwriting for secured/unsecured lending.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
