Job Summary

DRIEMS University is seeking an experienced and accomplished Professor in Occupational Therapy to provide academic and professional leadership in teaching, clinical education, research, faculty development, and departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- Conduct and supervise advanced practical and clinical training.
- Provide academic leadership in curriculum development and implementation.
- Guide postgraduate research projects and dissertations.
- Lead departmental research and publication activities.
- Publish research papers in reputed journals.
- Mentor faculty members in teaching, research, and professional development.
- Develop academic and clinical collaborations with healthcare institutions.
- Participate in academic, administrative, and institutional committees.
- Support accreditation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote innovative teaching and clinical training methodologies.
- Participate in conferences, seminars,



workshops, and professional forums.
- Contribute to the overall development of the Occupational Therapy department.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NCAHP and University regulations.

Eligibility

- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or equivalent qualification.
- Ph.D. in an appropriate Occupational Therapy discipline – Mandatory.
- 5 years’ experience as Associate Professor OR a total of 13 years’ teaching experience, as specified.
- 3 Conference presentations & 3 Publications as Associate Professor.
