Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Lead to spearhead the development and integration of an in-house issuer processor for our client's prepaid card services. This role requires a deep understanding of prepaid card systems, issuer processing, ledger management, account management, and payment networks (particularly Mastercard). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical and functional aspects of the project, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business goals.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

- Lead the end-to-end development and integration of the issuer processor component for prepaid card services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and operations to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and internal teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Technical Oversight:
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of the issuer processor, including account creation, fund management, transaction processing, and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure that the solution is compliant with industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS) and integrates seamlessly with existing systems such as Mastercard’s payment network.
- Guide the technical team in the development of APIs, transaction processing logic, and data security measures.

Functional Expertise:
- Provide functional insights into prepaid card operations, including account management, card issuance, transaction monitoring, and dispute management.
- Ensure that all business processes are accurately translated into system requirements and that the final solution meets operational needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, workflows, and functional requirements.

Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with client stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, provide project updates, and manage expectations.




- Collaborate with vendor teams to ensure a smooth transition from the current outsourced solution to the in-house platform.

Quality Assurance & Testing:
- Oversee the development of test cases and the execution of testing phases to ensure that the solution meets functional and technical requirements.
- Manage the resolution of defects and ensure that the system is ready for production deployment.

Training & Support:
- Lead the development of training materials and provide training sessions to client teams on the new issuer processor system.
- Provide ongoing support during the post-implementation phase to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.

Candidate Attributes:

Experience:

- 7+ years of experience in the payments industry, with a focus on prepaid card services and issuer processing.
- Proven experience in leading the development and implementation of issuer processor systems.
- Strong understanding of Mastercard payment networks, transaction processing, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI DSS).

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in system design, API development, and data security protocols.
- Experience with ledger management, account management, and transaction processing systems.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies.

- In-depth knowledge of prepaid card operations, including account creation, fund management, card issuance, and dispute resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
