About the Role

​We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Fabric Incharge to manage our complete raw fabric inventory, cutting allocations, and dyeing operations. In this role, you will serve as the core link between the merchandising team and production processes, ensuring that the right fabrics are correctly identified, cut, dyed to exact color specifications, and issued on time.

​Key Responsibilities

​Fabric Request Processing: Receive, review, and organize fabric requests raised by Merchandisers or the Production team.

​Fabric Identification & Selection: Accurately identify the exact type, weave, quality, and composition of fabric required from the store inventory.

​Cutting & Allocation: Measure and cut required fabric quantities as per approved merchant requisition forms, minimizing wastage.

​Dyeing Management:

​Dispatch cut fabrics for dyeing along with exact color swatches/shade references.

​Receive dyed fabrics back and perform thorough quality and shade checks against client approval standards.

​Fabric Issuance: Safely pack and issue the inspected, approved dyed fabrics to the concerned Merchandiser or Production department.





​Inventory & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate digital and physical logs of fabric stock, cutting entries, dyeing dispatches, and issuances using computer spreadsheets or inventory software.

​Candidate Profile & Qualifications

​Education: Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in any stream; Apparel/Textile specialization is a plus).

​Fabric Knowledge: Sound practical knowledge of different types of fabrics used in high-end/bridal wear (Silk, Organza, Net, Velvet, Chiffon, Georgette, etc.).

​Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Excel/Spreadsheets for stock logging and record management).

​Skills & Attributes:

​Keen eye for color accuracy, shade matching, and fabric flaw detection.

​Strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain quick turnaround times.

​Valuable communication skills for seamless coordination with Merchandisers and Dyeing vendors.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
