Responsible for providing safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. The Senior Staff Nurse supports clinical operations, coordinates with the healthcare team, and ensures compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient safety protocols.

* Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients according to established clinical standards.

* Monitor patients’ vital signs, clinical condition, and response to treatment, and promptly report any deterioration.

* Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed.

* Assist doctors during procedures, emergencies, and resuscitation when required.

* Operate and monitor ICU equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.

* Maintain accurate and timely patient records, nursing notes, medication charts, and other required documentation.

* Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices and maintain ICU safety standards.

* Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of patient care.





* Guide and support junior nurses and nursing trainees in clinical practices.

* Ensure proper handover and takeover of patient care during shift changes.

* Maintain confidentiality, qualified ethics, and respectful communication with patients and their families.

* Participate in staff training, quality improvement activities, audits, and hospital accreditation requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

* B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.

* Valid nursing registration with the appropriate nursing council.(KNMC)

* Relevant ICU experience, preferably in a senior nursing role.

* Good knowledge of critical care procedures, emergency management, and infection control.

* Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a multidisciplinary team.

* Commitment to professional nursing standards, patient safety, and ethical practice.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
