Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management: Research, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and favorable payment terms.
- Order Processing: Create and track purchase orders (POs) from issuance to timely delivery.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast needs, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse, production, and finance teams to match needs and explicit invoices.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate databases of purchased items, delivery schedules, and bills.
