CCTV Technician

Job Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
- Install and configure IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and related security equipment.
- Perform CCTV troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance.
- Handle CAT6 cable laying, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Handle fiber optic cable laying, termination, splicing, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
- Install and configure network switches, PoE switches, and basic networking equipment.
- Identify and resolve connectivity and camera-related issues at customer sites.
- Conduct site visits and complete installation work as per project requirements.
- Prepare basic installation/service reports.
- Coordinate with senior technicians and project teams.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain proper tools and equipment.

Requirements





- ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Networking, or a related field.
- Hands-on knowledge of CCTV installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CAT6 cable laying and termination.
- Knowledge of fiber optic cable laying and basic termination/splicing.
- Basic knowledge of networking and IP addressing.
- Willingness to travel to customer/project locations.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence are compulsory.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
