Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, REST APIs, and modern Android architecture.

The candidate will work closely with product, UI/UX, backend, and QA teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop robust Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Develop new features and enhance existing Android applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Work with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, and modern Android development practices.
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Implement responsive UI based on UI/UX designs.
- Debug application issues, identify root causes, and resolve performance and stability problems.
- Write unit and UI tests and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Optimize applications for performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and scalability.
- Ensure application security and follow mobile development best practices.
- Participate in application releases, deployment, and production support.
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and development trends.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Android Studio.




- Experience with Android Jetpack / Jetpack Compose.
- Strong understanding of Android UI/UX and responsive layouts.
- Experience consuming REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
- Good understanding of MVVM/MVI/Clean Architecture.
- Experience with Coroutines and Kotlin Flow.
- Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger/Hilt or Koin.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Experience writing unit tests and UI tests.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of mobile application lifecycle and performance optimization.

Positive to Have

- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Firebase services such as FCM, Crashlytics, Analytics, and Remote Config.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android applications.
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with mobile security and secure API integration.
- Knowledge of GraphQL.
- Experience with payment gateways, maps, location services, or other third-party SDK integrations.
- Experience publishing applications through Google Play Store.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Android Developer with strong Kotlin/Java expertise and experience building production-grade mobile applications. The candidate should be comfortable working across development, API integration, testing, debugging, performance optimization, and production support.
