Job Description:

The Fuel Foreman supervises fuel storage, dispensing and the fuel truck operators at the mining site, ensuring accurate fuel accounting, uninterrupted supply to machinery and strict safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

Supervise fuel truck operators and the fuel dispensing crew across shifts.

Oversee safe storage, handling and dispensing of diesel / fuel at the site.





Maintain accurate records of fuel receipts, issues and stock; reconcile daily consumption.

Coordinate fuel delivery schedules to machinery and equipment to avoid downtime.

Monitor for leaks, spills and losses; enforce fuel safety and environmental protocols.

Conduct daily inspections of fuel bowsers, tanks, pumps and metering equipment.

Report fuel consumption, variances and stock levels to management.
