Job Summary

Seeking a Business Analyst with 5-8 years of experience in Commodity Trading domain and expertise in Scala and Pyspark for a data project based in Bangalore

Job Description

5 to 8 years of experience Mandatory domain experience in Commodity Trading Strong knowledge of writing SQL queries Proficient in Scala and Pyspark technologies

Build maintain integrate and implement software applications within the organization Perform complex software application testing quality assurance configuration installation and support with minimal supervision

Ensure smooth stable and timely implementation of new software and updates Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Data Engineering and Data Platform teams

Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders

Enforce data governance standards and maintain comprehensive documentation

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively

Maintain open communication channels with users and stakeholders Strong troubleshooting debugging and problemsolving skills

Roles and Responsibilities

Design and implement complex application configurations aligned with business needs

Test and deploy application updates and fixes

Provide expertlevel application support and incident resolution

Manage endtoend data integration flows connecting source systems to enterprise reporting platforms

Ensure timely and seamless data movement and high data quality

Translate business requirements into actionable plans

Collaborate effectively with technical and business teams

Maintain documentation and enforce data governance





Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

Communicate regularly with users and stakeholders to ensure alignment
