Packing & Dispatch Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Packing & Dispatch Supervisor to manage day-to-day packing, dispatch, material handling, and coordination with production and logistics teams. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and damage-free dispatches.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily packing and dispatch operations.
- Plan and coordinate dispatches as per customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Ensure products are properly packed, labelled, and ready for protected transportation.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Sales, and Transporters for smooth dispatch.
- Verify quantity, product details, and dispatch documents before loading.
- Maintain dispatch records, packing lists, challans, and other required documentation.
- Monitor loading and unloading activities and ensure proper material handling.
- Ensure materials are dispatched within the committed timelines.
- Check packing quality and take corrective action wherever required.
- Manage and guide packing/dispatch helpers and workers.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S and safety procedures.
- Track pending,



completed, and urgent dispatches and provide regular updates to management.
- Resolve day-to-day packing and dispatch-related issues.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of packing, dispatch, and material handling processes.
- Team handling and supervisory skills.
- Valuable coordination and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and dispatch documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple dispatches and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Preferred Profile

- Experience in manufacturing, furniture, interior, or similar industries will be an advantage.
- Candidates who can independently handle packing and dispatch operations are preferred.

Salary: 30K-35k
