Shabab Tourism is a growing travel company with branches in Calicut, Kerala and Sharjah, UAE. We specialize in tour packages, ticketing, visa services, and travel solutions for both domestic and international clients.

Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our Calicut branch and support consolidated reporting across both branches.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate books of accounts using accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books or similar)
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Process staff salaries, vendor payments, and petty cash
- Prepare monthly P&L; statements and financial reports for management
- Coordinate with the UAE branch for inter-branch financial transactions
- Ensure GST compliance, TDS filings, and other statutory requirements
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives




- Liaise with auditors during internal and external audits

Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com or CA Inter qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in travel, tourism, or hospitality
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books and MS Excel
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Kerala tax regulations
- Robust attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam
