Qualification : Diploma,ITI , BCA ,B.tech in computer science and engineering. min 1 year of experience in the same field.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Ensure that all computer systems, servers, and peripherals are properly installed and configured.
- Maintain hardware components such as CPUs, monitors, keyboards, printers, and networking devices.
- Regularly check and ensure proper functioning of all equipment.

2. Software Installation and Management

- Install, update, and maintain required software, programming tools, and operating systems.
- Ensure licensed software is used and properly documented.
- Configure development environments for subjects like programming, databases, AI, etc.

3. Network Management

- Maintain LAN, internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi within the lab.
- Troubleshoot network issues and ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
- Monitor bandwidth usage and ensure secure access.

4. Assistance to Faculty and Students

- Assist faculty in conducting lab sessions, practical exams, and project work.
- Help students understand lab procedures and usage of tools/software.
- Provide technical support during lab hours.

5. Lab Preparation for Sessions

- Prepare the lab before each session (booting systems, checking software readiness).
- Ensure required programs and datasets are available for experiments.
- Arrange lab materials and maintain a clean working environment.

6. Record Keeping and Documentation

- Maintain stock registers for hardware and software.
- Record lab attendance, usage logs, and maintenance reports.
- Document issues, repairs,



and upgrades performed.

7. Safety and Security

- Ensure proper handling of equipment to avoid damage.
- Implement data security measures like antivirus installation and backups.
- Monitor lab usage to prevent misuse of systems or internet.

8. Inventory and Procurement Support

- Assist in identifying requirements for new equipment and software.
- Support procurement processes by providing technical specifications.
- Verify and inspect new equipment upon delivery.

9. Troubleshooting and Technical Support

- Identify and fix hardware/software issues promptly.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs if required.
- Minimize downtime of systems.

10. Support for Research and Projects

- Assist students and faculty in project development and research work.
- Provide support for specialized tools like machine learning, simulation, or cloud platforms.
- Help in setting up project environments.

11. Conduct of Lab Examinations

- Assist in setting up systems for internal and external lab exams.
- Ensure smooth functioning of systems during exams.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of exam processes.

12. Upgradation and Innovation

- Stay updated with new technologies, software tools, and lab practices.
- Suggest improvements in lab infrastructure and efficiency.
- Support implementation of modern tools like virtual labs or cloud-based systems.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
