Job Purpose

To lead, motivate and manage the sales team to achieve assigned sales targets while ensuring effective lead management, customer satisfaction, adherence to dealership processes and smooth coordination throughout the vehicle sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise and motivate the Sales Executives/Relationship Managers to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales activities based on assigned targets and available sales pipeline.
- Allocate leads to team members and ensure timely follow-up, customer engagement and conversion of enquiries into bookings and deliveries.
- Monitor showroom walk-ins, enquiries, test drives, quotations, bookings, cancellations and retail deliveries to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Guide team members in product presentation, vehicle demonstrations, customer handling, negotiation and deal closure.
- Conduct daily team briefings and regular performance reviews to communicate targets, schemes, product updates and business priorities.
- Track individual team performance and identify performance gaps, taking appropriate corrective and development measures.
- Coach and mentor team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, lead management and customer relationship management.
- Support the team in handling important customer enquiries, negotiations and escalated customer concerns.
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of customer enquiries, follow-ups, test drives, bookings and other activities in the CRM/DMS.
- Coordinate with Finance, Insurance, Exchange/True Value, Accessories, Service, RTO and Delivery teams for smooth vehicle delivery and customer experience.
- Drive additional business opportunities through finance, insurance, accessories, exchange,



referrals and other dealership offerings.
- Monitor lost sales, pending leads and ageing enquiries and take corrective action to improve conversion.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, dealership SOPs, Maruti Suzuki processes and customer service standards.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer preferences and share relevant market feedback with management.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales reports, MIS and performance updates to the reporting manager.
- Participate in and support promotional activities, roadshows, field activities, corporate visits and other sales initiatives.
- Maintain professional showroom discipline and ensure a positive customer experience from enquiry through vehicle delivery.

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- 5 years of experience in automobile sales or relevant retail sales.
- Prior experience in a Team Leader/Senior Sales role required.
- Experience in a Maruti Suzuki or other automobile dealership will be an added advantage.
- Valid four-wheeler driving licence preferred.
