Job Summary:
The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising the restaurant service team and ensuring smooth, productive, and high-quality service to guests. The role involves coordinating with waiters, kitchen staff, and management to maintain excellent guest satisfaction and restaurant standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of waiters and service staff.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper and timely service of food and beverages.
- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, presentation, and restaurant hygiene.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service.
- Train and guide junior service staff on restaurant procedures and service standards.
- Check food and beverage quality before serving guests.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including side work and restaurant setup.
- Ensure proper billing and payment procedures are followed.
- Monitor stock levels of service items and report shortages to management.




- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in maintaining service standards and achieving guest satisfaction.
- Help maintain a professional, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality service.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a service team.
- Good problem-solving and complaint-handling abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts.

Preferred Experience

1–3 years of experience in restaurant service, preferably in a Captain, Senior Waiter, or similar supervisory position.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
