Job Title: Sales Engineer (Electrical & Switchgear)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Engineer with 3–7 years of technical sales expertise (or) for freshers as trainee roles, specifically within the electrical industry and switchgear sector. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical expertise and commercial strategy, driving business growth by understanding customer requirements, presenting tailored solutions, and cultivating long-term client relationships across industrial and commercial markets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Sales & Business Development: Identify current market opportunities, promote LV/MV switchgear products, control panels, and electrical components, and consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Technical Solutioning & Demos: Conduct detailed product demonstrations and technical presentations for prospective clients, offering tailored engineering solutions based on specific client requirements.
- Sales Strategy & Proposals: Collaborate with internal engineering and sales teams to develop sales strategies, prepare accurate quotations, assist in proposal writing, and manage order follow-ups and deliveries.
- Account & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong,



trust-based relationships with industrial and commercial customers, providing seamless pre-sales guidance and reliable post-sales technical support.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage in the market.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or a closely related technical field).
- Experience: 3–7 years of proven sales engineering experience, with a focus on the electrical switchgear industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of LV/MV switchgear, control panels, power systems, and related electrical components.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel as required by business needs.
