Salesforce Tech Lead — Lending, Experience Cloud and Integrations (Offshore)

Delivery leadership · Experience Cloud partner portals · Consumer lending on Salesforce · Salesforce ↔ NetSuite integration · Offshore

ABOUT ENGINEERING SQUARE

Engineering Square LLC is a Fremont, California–based enterprise consulting firm delivering Salesforce, integration, and AI engineering for US enterprise clients. Our engineers embed directly with client teams — their tools, their ceremonies — with E2 engagement management and a named backup behind every seat.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Lead the offshore pod supporting a US solar manufacturer and its consumer-financing affiliate. This is a full-time Engineering Square role placed with the client. You own the solution design within the client's architecture across two Salesforce orgs, run code review and release discipline, and act as the pod's day-to-day coordination point with the client's delivery leads — daily standups, work tracked on the client's boards, and a modern CI/CD pipeline. The strongest signal we are hiring for is a lead who has shipped an Experience Cloud partner portal end to end, has led delivery on Salesforce in a lending business, and has owned an ERP integration — and who still writes Apex and LWC on the hardest stories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the design: own the solution design and integration architecture within the client's landscape across both orgs — cross-org integration, shared partner data, and one-way data hand-offs built on custom objects alongside the managed lending package, never inside it

Lead the Experience Cloud portal work: partner and customer sites — self-registration and onboarding, sharing and guest-user security, partner user licensing, federated login, LWC and page development; set the portal standards the developers build to

Lead the lending-platform build: application intake, status visibility, document and e-signature steps on the origination platform; design the post-origination processes — funding, disbursement and servicing hand-off — on custom objects alongside the managed package

Own the Salesforce ↔ NetSuite quote-to-cash integration: the lead backlog item — customer/account,

product and pricing sync; prospect → sales order; invoice and payment status back-sync; reconciliation of Salesforce, ERP and warehouse data. Own the design, the error handling, retries, idempotency and monitoring

Design partner APIs with monitoring: externally consumed APIs for installer and channel partners, with authentication, versioning, logging, alerting and replay built in from the first release

Run code review and release discipline: lead code reviews; hold the release checklist; enforce unit-test coverage, PMD static analysis and Confluence design notes and runbooks; nothing ships without QA sign-off

Mentor the pod: set the pod's engineering standard; mentor the senior developer and the developer; run the E2 round-1 technical screen for new pod members

Be the coordination point with the client: join the client's daily standup inside the overlap window; report status, risks and the coming week's plan directly to client stakeholders — business, product and platform owners; send the Friday written summary; raise risks early, never late

CONTEXT YOU WILL WORK IN

Two Salesforce orgs. The manufacturer runs a Sales, Service and Experience Cloud org with an installer partner portal (self-registration, knowledge, support). Its consumer-financing affiliate runs a separate org on a Salesforce-native loan and lease origination managed package, with its own installer partner portal (login federated to an external identity provider). Around both sit NetSuite (ERP — the Salesforce ↔ NetSuite quote-to-cash integration is the lead backlog item), Snowflake (financing and credit-risk analytics), an AWS integration layer (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS) and an integration platform. Work spans both orgs: cross-org integration, shared partner data, one-way data hand-offs alongside the managed package.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Experience Cloud — partner portals: has implemented at least one Experience Cloud partner portal end to end — site build (LWR or Aura), self-registration and onboarding flow, sharing and guest-user security, partner user licensing. Candidates who have shipped a partner portal go to the top of the list

Lending domain:

Salesforce in financial services or consumer lending — origination lifecycle, borrower and partner (dealer / installer) journeys

Loan-origination package: hands-on with a Salesforce-native loan/lease origination managed package. Q2 Cloud Lending / Symphonix experience strongly preferred

Delivery leadership: has led a delivery team of engineers on at least one client-facing Salesforce implementation — owned the solution design, ran code review and releases, and was accountable to the client for the outcome; has owned the integration on at least one ERP-connected implementation

Salesforce core: Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, asynchronous Apex, Platform Events; Named Credentials; Salesforce CDC, Bulk and Streaming APIs; hands-on on the hardest stories

APIs and integrations: REST, GraphQL and SOAP; API design — contracts, versioning, auth, error semantics; an integration platform of the Workato / MuleSoft / Boomi class; AWS Lambda, API Gateway and SQS

NetSuite integration (hands-on): SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP) or RESTlets; quote-to-cash and order-to-cash object flows between Salesforce and NetSuite

Snowflake and data reconciliation (hands-on): Salesforce CDC or batch extraction into Snowflake; reconciling platform data against ERP and finance

Delivery tooling: SFDX, Git, GitHub Actions CI/CD, PMD; release checklists; Jira and Confluence

Communication: camera-on meetings, direct stakeholder communication in clear English; written status a client can act on; raises risks early, never late; works the US business calendar and US federal holidays

Experience: 8+ years on the Salesforce platform, including tech-lead experience running a delivery team and hands-on delivery on at least one lending or portal-heavy implementation

NICE TO HAVE

Portal login federated to an external identity provider (OIDC / SAML single sign-on for Experience Cloud users); multi-org or org-consolidation experience

Sales, Service and Financial Services Cloud breadth; Einstein and Agentforce; AI-assisted engineering workflows on masked or synthetic data only

Event-driven architecture — Kafka or Azure Event Hubs; AWS S3 and Step Functions

Solar-financing, renewable-energy or fintech domain; prior work with US enterprise clients from offshore

CERTIFICATIONS

Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I

Preferred: Platform Developer II and Integration Architect; Experience Cloud Site Consultant; Application Architect a plus

Pay: ₹24,683.02 - ₹108,778.66 per month

Work Location: Remote
