We are seeking experienced Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead to lead and execute a Java platform modernization initiative involving the migration of enterprise applications from Oracle JDK 8 to OpenJDK 17/21. The candidate will be responsible for independently assessing application compatibility, upgrading dependent frameworks, resolving migration issues, and supporting deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
This is primarily a Lift-and-Shift migration initiative driven by WebLogic upgrades and end-of-life (EOL) requirements. The ideal candidate should possess robust expertise in legacy Java enterprise applications, WebLogic, Spring Framework, Hibernate, EJB, and CI/CD pipelines.
