Job Role:- House Manager

HOUSEHOLD / RESIDENCE
Location Matunga,Mumbai , Penthouse residence
Family Members Family of five
Current Staff Strength Cooks and a few other household help staff
Focus of the Role Take independent ownership of the day-to-day running, upkeep and
presentation of the residence , supervising staff, coordinating
vendors and maintenance, and handling household administration
and security.
Budget Starting 85,000 – 90,000 per month, with scope to increase based
on experience
Working Hours Nine to ten hours inclusive of breaks : one weekly-off
Client Brief
Requirements and expectations as shared by the client for this role.

- Oversee the day-to-day functioning, upkeep, cleanliness and presentation of the residence
- Supervise household staff , allocate duties, monitor attendance and performance, and maintain service

standards

- Manage household purchases, inventory and supplies; coordinate with vendors and negotiate where

appropriate

- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, AMCs, servicing and contractors for household equipment and facilities
- Maintain records of household expenses, purchases, warranties, service contracts and important documents
- Coordinate guests, family functions,



travel and other household requirements
- Monitor security arrangements and coordinate with security personnel, drivers and other support staff
- Handle urgent issues independently, identify practical solutions and ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain a reliable network of vendors and service providers, and ensure confidentiality of family matters

Required Experience
Years and type of experience that a candidate must bring.

- Five plus years of experience in household management, hospitality, estate management or a similar role
- Graduate in any discipline; a background in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or

Facility Management is preferred
