Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-focused Junior Physiotherapist to join our clinical team. The candidate will assist in assessing patients, implementing physiotherapy treatment plans, guiding therapeutic exercises, and supporting rehabilitation programs under the supervision of senior physiotherapists and doctors.

The ideal candidate should have strong basic clinical knowledge, positive communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Patient Assessment & Assistance — Assist with patient assessments by reviewing medical history and evaluating pain, mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, posture, and functional limitations under appropriate supervision.
- Treatment Planning & Implementation — Assist senior physiotherapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment and rehabilitation programs.
- Hands-On Therapy — Perform basic physiotherapy techniques such as stretching, soft tissue techniques, positioning, and exercise-based therapy as instructed and within the scope of training.
- Therapeutic Exercises — Guide patients through strengthening exercises, stretching routines, mobility exercises, balance training, and functional rehabilitation programs.
- Use of Physiotherapy Modalities — Operate modalities such as TENS, ultrasound, heat/cold therapy, and other electrotherapy equipment as prescribed and under appropriate supervision.




- Patient Education — Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, posture, ergonomics, precautions, and basic injury-prevention strategies.
- Monitor Patient Progress — Observe patient response to treatment, record progress, and report any changes or concerns to the senior physiotherapist or treating doctor.
- Clinical Support — Assist with treatment preparation, equipment setup, patient positioning, and maintaining a safe and hygienic therapy environment.
- Team Collaboration — Work closely with senior physiotherapists, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
- Documentation — Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatment sessions, exercises prescribed, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation.
- Patient Support & Communication — Build a positive relationship with patients and caregivers while maintaining professionalism, empathy, confidentiality, and patient safety.

Education

- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized university/institution.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of clinical experience may apply.
- Internship/clinical training experience will be considered an advantage.
- MPT is preferred but not mandatory.

Registration & Professional Requirements

- Valid registration with the applicable State Council of Physiotherapy, where required.
- Membership with the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) will be an advantage.

Compensation

- Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹28,000 per month, based on experience
