Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct Eye Exams: Test visual acuity, depth perception, and eye coordination using specialized equipment.
- Diagnose Conditions: Identify refractive errors (like nearsightedness) and eye diseases (like glaucoma).
- Prescribe Corrective Gear: Fit and prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and low-vision aids.
- Manage Ocular Health: Prescribe medications for eye diseases or provide pre- and post-operative care.
- Detect Systemic Issues: Screen for signs of general health conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure and refer patients to medical specialists.
- Educate Patients: Counsel individuals on eye hygiene, safety, and proper lens care
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
