Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Sales Engineer – Forklift / Material Handling Equipment to develop and manage sales activities across the Chennai region.

The candidate must have mandatory forklift industry experience in Sales or Service and should have good technical knowledge of forklift machines and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business opportunities and develop customers across Chennai.
- Visit industrial customers, factories, warehouses and manufacturing units.
- Understand customer material-handling requirements and recommend suitable forklift solutions.
- Handle product presentations, quotations, negotiations and order closures.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.
- Coordinate with the service team for customer technical/service requirements.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular market visits and identify current industrial customers.
- Monitor competitor activities and market requirements.
- Maintain regular follow-up with customers from enquiry to order closure.

Mandatory Requirements ⭐

- Minimum 2 years of Sales or Service experience specifically in the Forklift / Material Handling Equipment industry.




- Forklift machine knowledge is mandatory.
- Candidates from general automobile/industrial sales without forklift experience will not be preferred.
- Good technical understanding of Electric Forklift / Diesel Forklift / Battery-operated Material Handling Equipment.
- Tamil – Mandatory
- English – Mandatory
- Hindi – Mandatory
- Willingness to travel across the assigned Chennai territory.
- Valid driving licence and willingness for field sales are preferred.
