Job Description – Packing Supervisor

Position: Packing Supervisor
Department: Packing / Production
Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head
Location: Vapi / Pardi

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily packing activities as per production plans.
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, sealing, and identification of finished products.
- Allocate work to packing staff and monitor their performance.
- Ensure packing materials are available and properly maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of production, packing quantities, and material consumption.
- Ensure products are packed according to company quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
- Check packing machines and equipment for proper functioning.
- Minimize packing material wastage and maintain effective utilization.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the packing area.
- Follow all company safety rules, SOPs, and statutory requirements.




- Train and guide packing operators and helpers.
- Report packing issues, shortages, damages, or deviations to the concerned manager.
- Ensure timely completion of packing and dispatch requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / Graduate preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in packing supervision, preferably in a manufacturing/chemical industry.
- Good knowledge of packing processes and material handling.
- Ability to manage manpower and work in shifts.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of production and inventory records.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and workplace discipline.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
