Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Physiotherapist to join our clinic in Kochi, Kerala. The candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalized physiotherapy programs to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve functional independence for patients. This role requires robust clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Patient Assessment & Diagnosis — Review medical history, conduct physical examinations, evaluate movement, posture, strength, flexibility, balance, and pain levels to identify issues.
- Develop Personalized Treatment Plans — Create customized rehabilitation programs based on the patient's condition, goals, age, and lifestyle.
- Provide Hands-On Therapy — Use manual techniques such as joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, stretching, and manipulation to reduce pain and improve function.
- Prescribe & Guide Exercises — Teach therapeutic exercises, strengthening programs, stretching routines, and home exercise plans to build strength, endurance, and coordination.
- Apply Modalities & Equipment — Use tools like ultrasound, TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation), heat/cold therapy, laser, electrotherapy,



or hydrotherapy when appropriate.
- Patient Education & Prevention — Advise on posture, ergonomics, injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and self-management for chronic conditions.
- Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans — Regularly reassess patients, track improvements (e.g., range of motion, pain scores), and modify treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team — Work alongside doctors, surgeons, occupational therapists, nurses, and other specialists; provide referrals when required.
- Maintain Records — Document assessments, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately (important for insurance and legal purposes).
- Specialized Areas (optional focus) — Work in orthopedics (e.g., post-fracture/surgery rehab), neurology (stroke, Parkinson's), cardiopulmonary, pediatrics, geriatrics, sports physiotherapy, or women's health.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

-Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized university with 3-5+ years of clinical experience

-Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) preferred

Licensing & Registration

-Must register with the State Council of Physiotherapy or Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).

Compensation

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience)
