Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the complete Finance & Accounts function of our travel business.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in end-to-end accounting, financial control, reconciliations, taxation, MIS, cash-flow management, budgeting and business finance, preferably within the Travel, Tourism, TMC industry.

The CFO will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, strong internal controls, profitability, working-capital management and providing strategic financial insights to the management.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the end-to-end Finance & Accounts function.
Oversee complete accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, billing, collections and month-end/year-end closing.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and MIS reports.
Lead bank, customer, vendor, branch and inter-company reconciliations.
Manage travel-specific reconciliations including GDS, BSP, airline, hotel, supplier and corporate client transactions.
Monitor receivables, payables, outstanding collections and working capital.
Review revenue, commissions, refunds, credit notes, cancellations and service-fee transactions.
Establish strong financial controls to identify leakages, discrepancies and revenue/margin gaps.
Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, internal auditors, banks and financial institutions.
Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.




Prepare monthly MIS, management dashboards and profitability analysis.
Analyse business performance by client, branch, department and business vertical.
Support management in pricing, cost optimisation, profitability and strategic business decisions.
Strengthen finance processes, controls and accounting systems/ERP.
Lead, mentor and manage the Finance & Accounts team.
Ensure timely closure of books and accurate financial reporting.
Provide strategic recommendations to the MD/CEO on cash flow, profitability, investments and business growth.
Candidate Profile
Education:

CA – Chartered Accountant preferred
MBA / PGDM – Finance may also be considered for candidates with strong relevant experience.
Experience:

15+ years of overall Finance & Accounts experience.
Proven experience in a Finance Head / CFO / VP Finance / Head – Finance & Accounts role.
Strong preference for candidates from Travel & Tourism, TMC, Corporate Travel, Airline, Hospitality or OTA.
Candidates with strong experience in high-volume transactional businesses may also be considered.
