Assistant Bodyshop Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Bodyshop Manager in managing day-to-day bodyshop operations.
- Supervise denting, painting, welding, dismantling and reassembly activities.
- Ensure vehicles are repaired as per OEM standards and quality guidelines.
- Monitor job allocation, work progress, productivity and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Insurance Team, Technicians and Customers.
- Monitor insurance claims, approvals and surveyor coordination.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment and workshop resources.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure vehicles are delivered with proper fit & finish.
- Track pending jobs, WIP, repeat repairs and customer complaints.
- Maintain bodyshop MIS, productivity and performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, 5S and workshop processes.




- Support the Bodyshop Manager in achieving revenue, productivity and customer satisfaction targets.

Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automobile body repair and painting processes.
- Positive leadership and team-handling skills.
- Knowledge of insurance and accident repair processes.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a Toyota / OEM-authorized dealership bodyshop will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
