Roll Assembly Fitter – Job Description

Position: Roll Assembly Fitter
Industry: Steel / Rolling Mill

Key Responsibilities:

- Assembly, dismantling, fitting, and maintenance of rolling mill rolls and roll assemblies.
- Installation and alignment of rolls, bearings, chocks, couplings, and related components.
- Carry out fitting, measurement, and alignment using hand tools and precision instruments.
- Inspect roll assembly components for wear, damage, and dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and replacement of worn-out components.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping in the work area.

Qualification & Experience:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Fitter trade.
- 12–15 years of relevant experience in Roll Assembly / Rolling Mill maintenance.
- Experience in TMT Bars / steel rolling mill operations preferred.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
