Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Maintenance Engineers to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of production machinery, electrical systems, automation equipment, and plant utilities.

Candidates with hands-on experience in PLC, robotic welding systems, CNC machines, and industrial automation will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related breakdowns.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled machines and automation systems.
- Monitor and maintain PLC panels, sensors, VFDs, servo motors, relays, contactors, and control panels.
- Attend breakdowns and minimize machine downtime and production loss.
- Maintain and troubleshoot robotic welding machines and automated welding systems.
- Coordinate with production teams for quick resolution of machine-related issues.
- Carry out preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Maintain breakdown history, maintenance records, and spare-parts records.
- Analyze repeated breakdowns and implement root-cause and permanent corrective actions.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of new machines.
- Monitor the condition and performance of CNC machines, welding machines, compressors, pumps, furnaces, and other plant equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Coordinate with machine suppliers and external service providers when required.




- Maintain adequate inventory of critical maintenance spares and consumables.
- Support TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits related to maintenance activities.

Required Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and basic programming.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and electrical control systems.
- Knowledge of VFD, servo drives, sensors, proximity switches, and control panels.
- Experience in robotic welding maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Good troubleshooting knowledge of motors, pumps, gearboxes, electrical panels, and machine controls.
- Experience in CNC / machining equipment maintenance will be an advantage.
- Valuable knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and pneumatic circuit diagrams.

Qualification & Experience

- ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, EEE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Experience in automotive component manufacturing / engineering industry preferred.
- Hands-on experience in PLC and automation systems preferred.
- Experience in robotic welding systems will be an added advantage.
