JOB DESCRIPTION – COUNSELLOR

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Counsellor to join our team at Adibatla. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, understanding their academic and career requirements, explaining available courses, and supporting them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, academic programs, and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Explain course structure, fees, facilities, academic perks, and admission procedures.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents through calls, messages, and meetings.
- Handle student and parent queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling interactions and follow-ups.
- Support the admissions and marketing team in achieving enrolment targets.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Conduct campus visits and provide information about facilities and programs.




- Ensure timely follow-up on leads and convert suitable enquiries into admissions.

Requirements

- Graduation in any discipline.
- Previous experience in counselling, admissions, education, sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to confidently interact with students and parents.
- Strong follow-up and convincing skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain records.
- Target-oriented and responsible approach.
