Job Summary

WebSenor is looking for a detail-oriented and creative Web Author to manage, create, update, and publish content across websites and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AEM/CMS content authoring, web content management, and content publishing, along with a good understanding of HTML/CSS, SEO, WCAG accessibility, UX/UI, analytics, and image editing.

The candidate will work closely with content, design, development, SEO, and marketing teams to ensure website content is accurate, accessible, optimized, and aligned with brand and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, edit, format, manage, and publish website content using AEM and/or other CMS platforms.
- Manage web pages, components, assets, navigation, and content structures within the CMS.
- Publish and update content according to defined workflows, schedules, and approval processes.
- Ensure content is accurate, consistent, properly formatted, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Work with HTML and CSS to make basic content and formatting adjustments.
- Perform content quality checks before and after publishing.
- Implement basic SEO best practices, including page titles, metadata, headings, links, image alt text, and content structure.
- Ensure web content follows WCAG accessibility guidelines and accessibility best practices.
- Collaborate with UX/UI and design teams to maintain a consistent and user-friendly website experience.
- Resize, crop, optimize, and make basic edits to images and other digital assets.
- Monitor website content and identify broken links, formatting issues, missing assets, and other content-related problems.




- Use web analytics tools to understand content performance and support content improvement.
- Coordinate with developers when technical issues or CMS-related problems require development support.
- Maintain content documentation, publishing records, and related reports.
- Support website migrations, content updates, campaigns, and new page launches when required.

Required Skills

- 2+ years of experience in Web Authoring, Content Management, CMS, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and/or other enterprise CMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of web content management and publishing workflows.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and on-page optimization.
- Knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility principles.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive web content.
- Experience working with web analytics tools.
- Basic knowledge of image editing and digital asset optimization.
- Strong attention to detail and content quality.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Good to Have

- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, templates, workflows, and DAM.
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma, or similar image/design tools.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with website QA and content validation.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing tools.
- Experience working with Agile teams and project management tools such as Jira.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
