Designation: Database Analyst
Location: Mohali (Chandigarh)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Provide database monitoring and support of multiple 24/7 enterprise SQL Server always on availability groups.
- Troubleshoot issues as they occur, working with the Operations team during incidents, and resolving problems quickly and to a high standard.
- Maintain database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems, calculating optimum parameter values, evaluating new release code, answering developer questions and advising on code changes.
- Develop and configure database solutions, configuration of current systems, defining database structure, improving security, ensuring back-ups and restores meet audit requirements.
- Ensure all database systems meet RPO & RTO policies.
- Work with the Engineering Team to design and optimize SQL solutions.




- Work with the Operations Team to manage, install and configure servers in multiple data centres around the world.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Ability to work closely with developers to resolve issues and improve systems.
- High level knowledge of Windows and Windows security and how they affect SQL Server.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
