Seamedia is looking for a Shopify Developer who can build custom themes, create smooth shopping experiences, and use AI tools to improve development speed and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Build custom Shopify themes from scratch based on provided designs and business requirements.
- Customize and extend Shopify Dawn, Horizon, and third-party themes.
- Develop reusable sections, blocks, templates, and responsive storefront features.
- Use Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools to automate repetitive development tasks, assist debugging, and improve workflows.
- Manage local development, testing, and theme deployment using Shopify CLI and Git.
- Optimize storefront performance, loading speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile usability.
- Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps, troubleshoot conflicts, and implement required theme changes.
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and project managers to deliver reliable Shopify stores.
- Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability, and performance.

Required Skills

- At least 2 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.




- Practical experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0, JSON templates, sections, blocks, metafields, and metaobjects.
- Experience working with Dawn, Horizon, and third-party themes.
- Ability to translate Figma designs into accurate, responsive Shopify storefronts.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify CLI, Git, browser developer tools, and debugging.
- Experience using Claude or ChatGPT in real development workflows.
- Valuable understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, including products, collections, navigation, apps, Markets, and platform capabilities and limitations.
- Ability to identify performance issues and implement improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.

Good to Have

- Familiarity with Shopify APIs and custom app integrations.
- Experience with Shopify Plus, B2B, or international storefronts.
- Knowledge of technical SEO, accessibility, and conversion-focused development.
