TWISTING TECHNICIAN

Department: Twisting / Yarn Manufacturing

Reports To: Production Head

Location: Dadra / Silvassa, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

CMC Textiles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Twisting Technician to handle hands-on twisting operations on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will bring robust technical experience in running and setting twisting machines, a solid grounding in quality control, and in-depth knowledge of sewing thread manufacturing, and will be responsible for the consistent, efficient, and quality-compliant production of all types of twisted yarn and thread products. This role reports directly to the Production Head.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, set, and adjust twisting machines (TFO and other twisting technologies) for day-to-day production.

- Ensure consistent product quality by monitoring key twisting parameters (twist per inch, evenness, strength, uniformity) and taking timely corrective action.

- Apply working knowledge of sewing thread manufacturing to align twisting processes with downstream thread quality and performance requirements.

- Maintain and apply thorough knowledge across all types of twisting products, adjusting process settings and troubleshooting accordingly.





- Carry out routine quality checks on twisted yarn/thread and flag deviations promptly.

- Coordinate with the Quality, Production Planning, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth, uninterrupted production.

- Report production output, quality observations, and machine/operational issues to the Production Head.

- Support continuous improvement efforts to improve twisting efficiency, machine utilization, and reduce wastage.

- Follow safety practices and quality standards on the twisting shop floor.

- Maintain accurate production, quality, and machine performance records.

Requirements

- Proven hands-on experience as a Twisting Technician/Operator or in a similar technical role within yarn/textile manufacturing.

- Strong practical experience in quality control for twisted yarn/thread production.

- Sound knowledge of sewing thread manufacturing processes.

- In-depth knowledge of all types of twisting products and processes.

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail on the shop floor.

- Good communication and reporting skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
