Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Fashion Designer to develop fresh, elegant, and innovative collections that align with our brand ethos of sustainability, craftsmanship, and style. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with linen fabric and a strong understanding of fashion trends, garment construction, and fabric manipulation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and evolution of a fashion-forward, eco-conscious brand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Development: Create seasonal collections, including sketches, mood boards, and fabric swatches, ensuring designs align with the brand’s aesthetic and current market trends.
- Fabric and Materials: Focus on linen and other sustainable fabrics, selecting and sourcing materials that are both eco-friendly and of the highest quality.
- Technical Design:



Collaborate with the production team to ensure technical specifications, fit, and construction meet brand standards. Oversee the development of tech packs and work closely with pattern makers and sample makers.
- Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with global fashion trends, textile innovations, and sustainable fashion practices to inspire new designs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, production, and sales teams to ensure designs align with customer expectations and meet production timelines.
- Quality Control: Ensure the finished product meets high-quality standards and aligns with the brand’s vision and values.
- Sustainability Focus: Contribute to the brand’s commitment to sustainability by researching and integrating eco-friendly design and production practices into your work.

Requirements:

- Experience: 4+ years of experience in fashion design, particularly with linen or sustainable fashion. Experience in a similar brand or product category is a plus.
- Education: Degree in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Creative Skills: Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and previous work, particularly with linen or other natural fabrics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g.,



Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D) and a solid understanding of garment construction and pattern making.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with fabric sourcing, textile processes, and garment production techniques, especially related to linen and sustainable materials.
- Passion for Sustainability: A genuine passion for eco-friendly fashion practices and sustainability within the fashion industry.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for detail in design, fabric selection, and garment finish.
