Accountant/Data Entry – Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant who can independently handle our complete day-to-day accounts, data entry, stock records, payments, receivables, GST compliance and follow-ups, while using AI tools to improve speed and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle complete day-to-day accounting and data entry

* Maintain sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, debit and credit entries

* Maintain and update stock/inventory records

* Handle customer and supplier accounts

* Track credit sales, outstanding payments and payables

* Follow up with customers for pending/outstanding payments

* Coordinate with suppliers regarding payments, bills and accounts

* Prepare invoices, reports and account statements

* Perform bank reconciliation and maintain proper records

* Handle monthly GST-related work and compliance

* Prepare and file applicable GST returns within the required timelines

* Reconcile purchase records with GSTR-2B and identify ITC mismatches

* Check GST invoices, Input Tax Credit and GST-related discrepancies

* Maintain proper GST records and supporting documents





* Use AI tools for data entry, Excel work, documentation, reconciliation and routine accounting tasks

* Ensure financial, GST and stock data is accurate and up to date

* Handle accounts end-to-end, from data entry to reporting and payment follow-ups

Requirements

* Good practical knowledge of Tally and Excel

* Strong knowledge of GST and monthly GST compliance

* Knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B, Input Tax Credit (ITC) and GST reconciliation

* Understanding of debit/credit entries and basic accounting principles

* Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounts

* Comfortable using AI tools for accounting and office work

* Positive communication and follow-up skills

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to identify accounting and GST discrepancies

* Experience handling accounts, GST and inventory will be preferred

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
