Spanish Teacher – International Curriculum

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive language-learning environment, helping students develop strong communication, cultural awareness, and global perspectives through Spanish.

The role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate Spanish lessons using inquiry, experiential and activity-based learning approaches, while encouraging students to use the language confidently in real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons aligned with the school's international curriculum and learning framework.
- Develop students' listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in Spanish.
- Use interactive strategies such as conversations, role plays, projects, games, stories, presentations and real-world situations.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the learning needs and language proficiency levels of individual students.
- Integrate Spanish language learning with culture, history, traditions and contemporary global contexts.
- Encourage students to use Spanish naturally and confidently beyond the classroom.
- Design formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student learning, progress and achievement.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate learning progress with parents when required.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop cross-curricular and interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Contribute to language-related events, cultural celebrations, exhibitions, workshops and student activities.




- Support the development of Spanish learning resources, classroom displays and digital content.
- Participate in department meetings, professional development programmes and school-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful and inclusive school culture.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Spanish, Languages, Education or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification/certification preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or progressive school environment.
- Strong proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Experience teaching Spanish as a foreign/additional language is preferred.
- Familiarity with inquiry-based, experiential and student-centred teaching approaches.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds is an advantage.

What We Look For

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
