Vatika Garden Restaurant focuses on Indian, Chinese, Tandoor, Biryani, and popular family dining items, while Garden Bakery provides cakes, custom cakes, and a variety of bakery products for celebrations. The organization hosts and services birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, corporate meetings, and private events. With a strong emphasis on quality food, reliable service, clean operations, and memorable guest experiences, SSK Vatika Hospitality serves customers in Balangir and nearby areas and continues to expand its operational standards.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Restaurant Operation Manager based in Balangir, Odisha. The Restaurant Operation Manager will oversee day-to-day operations across dining, bakery, and event services, ensuring smooth workflow, consistent food quality, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising & hiring suitable staff, managing shifts, coordinating with kitchen and bakery teams, monitoring inventory and procurement, and resolving operational issues promptly. The role also involves handling guest interactions, managing reservations and events, coordinating catering orders, and ensuring a positive guest experience. The Restaurant Operation Manager will track sales and costs, support budgeting and reporting, implement standard operating procedures,



and work with leadership to improve service efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong restaurant operations skills, including staff supervision, shift management, and coordination between kitchen, bakery, and service teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in inventory control, vendor coordination, and basic cost management to support efficient procurement and stock handling.
- Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills to manage guest queries, handle feedback, and support event and catering requirements.
- Candidates should possess abilities in quality control, hygiene and safety compliance, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Candidates should possess basic administrative and reporting skills, including record-keeping, billing oversight, and use of POS or restaurant management systems.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and team leadership capabilities, with the ability to train staff, manage conflicts, and support a collaborative work setting.
- Relevant experience in restaurant or hospitality operations management is preferred; experience with family dining, bakery, or event hosting is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is beneficial, along with flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and peak event hours.
- Candidates from Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Sambalpur, Bargard, Balangir will be given preference.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
