Schedule: 6 days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Weekday Monday week off.

About the role
Waveline Sports is the Master Franchise for the Michael Phelps Swimming Program in India, running structured level-based swimming programmes at 34 centres across Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Indore and Kolkata.

We are looking for swimming coaches to teach children and adults on our curriculum. You will not be left to teach your own way — we have a defined programme, defined levels, and you will be trained on it.

What you will do

- Teach scheduled batches of children and adults following the Michael Phelps Swimming Program curriculum
- Assess students against level criteria and move them up when they are genuinely ready
- Maintain safety on deck at all times — supervision, headcount, entry and exit discipline
- Log attendance, assessments and batch observations in our system on the same day
- Handle students with medical flags according to the plan set for them, and escalate anything you are unsure about
- Communicate progress to parents clearly and professionally
- Complete daily deck checks, water clarity observation and equipment checks as rostered
- Support trial classes and help convert trial students into enrolments





What we are looking for

- Strong swimming ability across all four strokes
- Prior coaching or teaching experience with children is preferred; competitive swimming background is valued
- Lifesaving or water safety certification is an advantage. Candidates without it must be willing to complete certification through us before taking batches independently.
- Patient and calm with young children, including nervous and first-time swimmers
- Clear communication with parents; English and Kannada preferred, Hindi an advantage
- Willing to work weekends and split morning/evening shifts
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet to log attendance and assessments daily

Pay: ₹15,063.23 - ₹30,000 per month
