Solaris Animation creates joyful preschool shows filled with unforgettable characters, music and meaning. Our studio in New Delhi produces original 3D animation for streaming audiences worldwide; YoYo Kids, an original preschool series, is currently in production.

The role

You create charming character performances in Maya. You animate dialogue, comedy, musical and physical-performance shots from layout through final polish, working closely with the Animation Lead and the Director.

What you will do

- Animate character shots from blocking to final polish to the show's style and schedule.
- Deliver convincing acting, body mechanics, facial animation and lip sync.
- Take direction from dailies and turn notes around quickly.
- Manage your own shot list and flag problems early.
- Support less experienced animators with feedback when asked.

What we need





- Strong professional Autodesk Maya animation experience.
- A reel showing acting, body mechanics, facial animation and lip sync.
- Excellent animation fundamentals and a feel for appeal and timing for young audiences.
- The ability to take direction and manage shots independently.
- Based in Delhi NCR or willing to relocate. This is an on-site role.
- Remote work is not available.

Good to have

- Working knowledge of Houdini or Mari.
- Experience on episodic preschool or family animation.
