About the Position

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Hostel Rooms & Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and smooth functioning of hostel rooms and common facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the overall maintenance of hostel rooms, corridors, washrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and identify maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, civil, and other repair works.
- Ensure rooms are properly prepared and maintained for current residents/students.
- Maintain records of room allocation, maintenance complaints, repairs, and inventories.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff.




- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hostel.
- Attend to and resolve student/resident maintenance complaints promptly.
- Ensure proper functioning of lights, fans, air conditioners, water supply, plumbing, locks, furniture, and other facilities.
- Coordinate with external vendors/contractors whenever specialized work is required.
- Monitor maintenance expenses and ensure proper use of materials and resources.
- Report major maintenance issues and required expenditures to management.
- Ensure compliance with hostel safety and emergency procedures.

HOTEL MANAGEMENT DIPLOMA/BACHELROS
