Database Development

- Design, develop, and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Develop and maintain data structures as per application requirements

Performance Optimization

- Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks
- Optimize queries and improve execution time
- Implement indexing strategies for performance tuning

Data Management

- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security
- Perform data migration, extraction, and transformation tasks
- Handle backups, restores, and recovery processes

Integration & Support

- Work closely with application developers to support data requirements
- Assist in integrating databases with applications and APIs
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain proper documentation of database structures and processes
- Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in MS SQL Server development
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL (queries, joins, subqueries,



stored procedures)
- Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 (or similar versions)
- Understanding of database design concepts (normalization, indexing)
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes
- Knowledge of SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
