About the Role

Fortune Gourmet is looking for an experienced City Business Manager to lead retail sales operations across North Delhi. The role holds end-to-end responsibility for driving revenue, expanding market coverage, and managing a solid distribution network spanning both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the sales P&L; for North Delhi and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and volume targets.
- Manage and expand the General Trade (GT) network including distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
- Drive Contemporary Trade (MT) partnerships with supermarket and hypermarket chains, ensuring visibility, fill-rates, and account profitability.
- Plan and execute market-specific go-to-market strategies to increase distribution reach and market share.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Officers / Territory Sales Executives and distributor sales staff.
- Monitor secondary sales, stock norms, and ensure optimum inventory levels at distributor and retail points.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and MT category/procurement teams.
- Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.




- Ensure effective execution of trade promotions, merchandising, and in-store visibility programs.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
- Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit and commercial policies.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG / food & beverage retail sales, with proven exposure to both GT and MT channels.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred.
- Strong understanding of the North Delhi trade market, distributor network, and key MT accounts.
- Demonstrated experience managing a field sales team and distributor operations.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability with hands-on experience in sales reporting and MIS tools (Excel/ERP/DMS).
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive local travel across North Delhi.
