Role Overview You will run a Knya store like it's your own. Our customers are doctors, nurses and healthcare students who come in between shifts, and they deserve a store that respects their time and their profession. You own the numbers, the team, the stock and the standards, and you make sure every customer walks out with the right fit and a reason to come back.
You report to the Area Manager and work closely with the Retail, HR and Finance teams. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Store Performance Own the monthly sales target for your store and plan daily and weekly how the team gets there.
Track sales, bill value and conversion every day, and act early when the numbers slip. Build local demand by reaching out to nearby hospitals, medical colleges and clinics for walk-ins and bulk orders.
Drive high-value bills through strong product knowledge, fit guidance and genuine recommendations. Customer Experience Serve every customer like a caregiver. Anticipate what they need, remove friction and make their day easier.
Know the product at expert level: fabric, fit, care and durability, and make sure your team does too.
Understand our customers' world, from hospital dress codes to shift timings, and use it to guide them better. Handle exchanges, complaints and escalations calmly and resolve them on the spot wherever possible
Team Leadership Lead, coach and motivate your store team. Set clear daily goals and give honest, regular feedback.
Plan rosters and weekly offs so the store is always well staffed at peak hours.
Make sure attendance, leaves and punches are recorded correctly in Keka every day. Onboard new joiners into the Knya way of working and help identify and grow future store leaders.
Set the tone on grooming, conduct and professionalism. Your team will follow what you do.
Operations, Stock & Compliance Own inventory accuracy. Run regular stock counts, flag variances and keep shrinkage close to zero.
Manage cash handling and deposit store cash on time, with daily reconciliation against sales. Keep billing clean and accurate, with every sale punched correctly at the time of sale.
Ensure CCTV,
POS and store systems are working at all times and report issues the same day. Maintain visual merchandising, folds, sizing displays and store upkeep to Knya standards, every single day.
Follow company SOPs and policies, and share accurate daily and monthly reports with your Area Manager. Ownership & Community Treat the store as a professional gathering point for the healthcare community in your city.
Bring ideas on what is working locally, what customers are asking for and what we should try next.
ust Haves 3 to 6 years of retail experience, with at least 1 to 2 years managing a store or leading a floor team. Proven track record of hitting sales targets. Hands-on experience with inventory management, stock audits, cash handling and POS billing.
Comfortable with numbers and basic reporting in Excel or Google Sheets. Strong communication in English and the local language.
Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays and in retail shift timings. High integrity. You will be trusted with cash, stock and people.
Good to Have Experience in apparel, fashion, lifestyle or premium retail brands. Exposure to healthcare, medical or uniform retail, or an understanding of how hospitals and medical colleges work.
Experience driving B2B or bulk orders from local institutions.
Familiarity with HRMS tools like Keka for attendance and rosters.
Experience opening or setting up a new store.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
