Job Summary

A well-established manufacturing organization working in display equipment, commercial equipment, refrigeration, and customized fabricated products is looking for an experienced Design Engineer.

The candidate will be responsible for product design, sheet-metal development, engineering drawings, and coordination with the production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical products and components.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Prepare production drawings, BOMs, dimensions, and specifications.
- Handle sheet-metal design, bending, fabrication, and assembly drawings.
- Modify designs according to production and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams for manufacturing.




- Identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Ensure designs are practical, accurate, and production-ready.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks – Mandatory.
- Practical experience in Sheet Metal Design & Fabrication – Mandatory.
- Positive knowledge of mechanical drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of BOM, dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Eligibility

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in mechanical/product design.
- Experience in sheet-metal, fabrication, equipment, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
