About the Role & Client

Sreelakshmi Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Traffic & Transportation Engineer to support projects for our Canadian client, Tranplan Associates.

The successful candidate will work remotely from India as part of the project delivery team supporting Tranplan Associates’ traffic and transportation engineering projects in Canada. The candidate will work closely with the Tranplan Associates team and be responsible for delivering high-quality technical work in accordance with project requirements and timelines.

Tranplan Associates is an established Canadian transportation consulting firm with over four decades of experience providing traffic and transportation consulting services to industry and government. Our services include Traffic Impact Studies, Parking Justification and Utilization Studies, Corridor and Environmental Assessment Studies, and Local Area Transportation Planning Studies.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare Traffic Impact Studies, Parking studies, perform traffic data analysis, traffic forecasting and intersection operational analysis.
- Conduct traffic analysis using Synchro.
- Perform vehicle turning and swept-path analysis using Auto TURN.
- Prepare drawings, technical figures, and project exhibits using AutoCAD and CorelDRAW.
- Prepare technical calculations, reports, tables, figures,



and recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant traffic and transportation engineering experience.
- Experience preparing Traffic Impact Studies and/or Parking Studies.
- Strong understanding of traffic engineering and transportation planning principles.
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a 100% remote workplace.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Required Software Skills

Candidates must have practical experience with:

- Synchro
- AutoCAD
- AutoTURN
- CorelDRAW
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Additional experience with transportation, GIS, or traffic analysis software is an asset.

Compensation

- ₹35,000–₹50,000 per project
- Project-based contract
- Compensation may vary depending on project scope, complexity, and experience.
- 100% remote work
- Projects will primarily support Canadian transportation engineering assignments.
