Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Video Editor at InfluenceWala.com. The Video Editor intern will work closely with content creators and marketing teams to edit raw footage into polished videos optimized for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and other social media channels. Day-to-day tasks include assembling and trimming clips, adding transitions, applying color grading, integrating graphics and motion elements, and ensuring audio and visual consistency. The role also involves organizing media assets, following brand guidelines, collaborating on creative concepts, and meeting project deadlines.



Interns may contribute ideas for recent video formats and support ongoing campaigns while developing their technical and storytelling skills.
Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage and creating coherent, engaging narratives.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading and basic post-production adjustments to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics for adding titles, lower thirds, overlays, and other visual elements.
- Proficiency with common video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop or similar).
- Good understanding of social media formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for short-form and long-form video content.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setup while meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to receive and implement feedback from creative and marketing teams.
- Relevant coursework, portfolio, or prior project experience in video editing or digital media; current students or recent graduates in film, media, design, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
