Job title:
Sr Hardware Engineering Lab Specialist

Your role:

- Must possess hands-on experience in PCB rework including soldering, de-soldering, component replacement, and minor circuit modifications while adhering to ESD-safe practices and procedures.
- Must have hands-on experience in wiring, building cable harness, panel assembly and basic PCB handling with a strong understanding of quality and safety practices
- Manage inventory of equipmentu2019s, components, tools, consumables, and test accessories to support ongoing engineering work
- Maintain the equipment calibration schedules and records up to-date
- Ensure laboratory safety protocols are consistently followed to maintain a safe working environment and maintain proper documentation and records of laboratory activities.
- Perform laboratory tests per SOPs while maintaining accurate records for quality and compliance
- Drive and handle procurement activities related to project and laboratory requirements
- Managing and co-ordinate with logistics for various shipments related to project and lab
- Assist in assembling, disassembling, and modifying mechanical components, test Jigs and prepare prototype.
- Operate and maintain basic machine tools (torque tools, 3D printer, etc) and laboratory equipmentu2019s ensuring cleanliness and readiness for use.
- Lead in troubleshooting equipment issues and resolving technical problems as needed
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve common goals and objectives




- Support verification and validation teams during test execution as required, including setup, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting

You're the right fit if:

- 10+ years of experience working in an engineering laboratory workplace
- Familiarity with laboratory best practices for organization, safety, ESD protection, safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Ability to perform basic electrical and mechanical measurements and data logging
- Ability to build test setups and automation

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companyu2019s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companyu2019s main facilities, generally at the customersu2019 or suppliersu2019 locations.
