Job Description: Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations of the automobile dealership, including budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and coordination with banks and OEM partners. The role ensures the financial health, profitability, and regulatory compliance of the dealership. ─── Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Management • Financial Statements: Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Cash Flow: Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking transactions. • Profitability Tracking: Track dealership profitability across vehicle sales, service, and spare parts departments. • Receivables & Payables: Ensure timely vendor payments and receivables collection.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting • Planning: Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts. • Variance Analysis: Monitor actual performance vs. budget and analyze variances. • Insights: Provide financial insights to support business decisions and profitability improvement.

3. Accounting & Compliance • Standards: Ensure proper accounting as per accounting standards and company policies. • Taxation: Manage GST filings, TDS compliance, and statutory returns. • Audits & Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. • OEM Reporting: Ensure compliance with OEM financial reporting requirements.

4. Dealership Operations Support • Departmental Support: Work closely with sales, service, and parts departments to track financial performance. • Inventory Finance:



Monitor vehicle inventory financing and stock reconciliation. • Retail Finance: Oversee retail finance coordination with banks/NBFCs for customer vehicle loans. • Incentives & Claims: Track dealer incentives, claims, and reimbursements from OEMs.

5. Internal Controls & Risk Management • Controls: Implement and maintain internal financial controls and audit procedures. • Risk Mitigation: Prevent financial discrepancies, fraud, and operational leakages. • Audits: Conduct periodic internal audits and stock audits.

6. Team Management • Supervision: Supervise the accounts and finance team. • Bookkeeping: Ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and documentation. • Training: Train team members on financial policies and compliance. ─── Requirements & Qualifications: Education & Experience:

• Required Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.). • Preferred Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com (CA preferred for large dealerships). • Experience: 10–15 years of experience in finance or accounting. • Industry Focus: Experience in an automobile dealership or the automotive industry is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Brand Experience: Working with automobile brands such as Toyota, KIA, Hyundai Motor India, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra dealerships, Volvo, or any luxury brands. • Systems: Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and OEM reporting.
