Job Description – Logistics Sales Executive

Location: Chennai

Experience: 2–4 Years

Salary: 35,000-50,000 Monthly

Employment Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics services.

- Generate leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn, references, and other business development channels.

- Contact potential customers and understand their import, export, sea freight, air freight, customs clearance, and transportation requirements.

- Prepare and share competitive freight quotations with customers.

- Coordinate with the pricing and operations teams to provide accurate rates and solutions.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

- Follow up regularly on quotations, enquiries, and pending business opportunities.

- Convert qualified leads into confirmed shipments and achieve assigned sales targets.

- Maintain customer and sales records, enquiry status, quotations, and follow-up reports.





- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of confirmed shipments.

- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.

- Attend customer meetings and make business presentations when required.

- Ensure timely communication and professional handling of customer queries.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
